Founded in 1945, ISA is a leading, global, nonprofit organization with over 30,000 worldwide members. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts the largest conference for automation professionals in the Western Hemisphere.
The goal of the CSULB ISA section is to establish a relationship between the student and professional members. We hope to build a constant communication with the professional members to help the students have an understanding of the workforce. We believe we can give our student members an advantage of what to expect when they search for a job and how to deal with situations that may arise in their pursuit of their careers. Perhaps most importantly, to offer our students the opportunity to speak with professionals in different fields to get a clearer picture of the type of career the student would like to go into.
