An annual membership to the professional branch of the IEEE is only $30 for students (almost a tenth of the price for professionals) which includes: Membership to an IEEE Student Branch, significantly-discounted membership to technical societies of your choice, subscription to award-winning publications such as IEEE Spectrum, IEEE POTENTIALS, The Institute, access to myIEEE, an IEEE email alias, and access to IEEE-Sponsored events held off your campus. It is our Student Branch Mission:To provide undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in the Electrical and Electronics or related engineering professions with opportunities for educational, technical and professional development in preparation for entry into the profession. Which is why the CSULB IEEE Student Branch continues to provide extra-curricular projects such as our continuous MicroMouse project, our continuous NATCAR project, and our bi-annual 8051 Activity Board Project, just to name a few. We also host weekly General Body Meetings with Guest Speakers from a variety of industries (Defense, Consumer, Manufacturing, Business, etc.), weekly Officer's Meetings, monthly Social Events and organize and host an annual Student Professional Awareness Conference. We also expose our members to the industry and networking opportunities though frequent industry tours, annual trips to the Consumer Electronics Show, and countless IEEE Regional and Sectional meetings. (Participation of on campus, CSULB-IEEE-sponsored events does not require membership to the professional organization, unlike off-campus, IEEE-USA sponsored events) Organization InfoEmail:
