This is your chance to put your organization in the spotlight - take advantage of it! e-LIFE FundraiserTomorrow, e-LIFE will be having a fundraiser at Ruby's on 2nd and PCH from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Don't forget to take a flyer! Present the flyer to your waitress and 20% of your purchase (excluding alcoholic beverages) will be donated to e-LIFE. All the e-LIFE Freshmen are excited for the event, and we hope everyone will support their efforts. RRC StoriesWith the recent closure of the Recruitment and Retention Center, AESB has moved to help find solutions to re-open the Center. You can help by sending personal stories of how the Center has helped you or how you would have been worse off without their help and advising. This is for everyone! Sankofa (NSBE Co-sponsored Event)CSULB's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Black Business Students' Association (BBSA) would like to formally invite you to attend our annual Sankofa. This is a free event designed to educate and motivate today's students to become the leaders of tomorrow. Sankofa is an Akan (a people of West Africa) word that means, 'We must go back and reclaim our past so we can move forward; so we understand why and how we came to be who we are today.' The goal of the event, which will feature keynote speakers, is to unite students, alumni, faculty and the corporate world; and to encourage all to strive ahead in the realm of academia as well as to evoke leadership on all levels. This focus is achieved through reflection, learning and comprehension of the past, and finally, how to create a strengthened tomorrow. With these goals in mind, we feel that your presence would be very beneficial and help us work towards our goals. So come join us. We look forward to seeing you at Sankofa. December 3, 2009 at 6:00pm located in the Pyramid Annex Conference Center. Hope to see you there!! AESB Calendar
