The AESB represents all of the students in the College to the University and on behalf of the University, awards grant money to the student organizations to further their academic and community work, and seeks to further the professional pursuits of the students in the College. Involvement on campus and in student organizations has been proven time and again to improve retention and overall success among students both in school and in their professional careers; consequently, every student ought to try to be an active member of a student organization that pertains to one's interests or field of study.
