Welcome to AESB!

Welcome to the Associated Engineering Student Body, home to the many student organizations within the College of Engineering at California State University, Long Beach. The AESB represents all of the students in the College to the University and on behalf of the University, awards grant money to the student organizations to further their academic and community work, and seeks to further the professional pursuits of the students in the College. Involvement on campus and in student organizations has been proven time and again to improve retention and overall success among students both in school and in their professional careers; consequently, every student ought to try to be an active member of a student organization that pertains to one's interests or field of study.

Good morning,

My name is Chris Reckart and I am with Campus Entertainment, the marketing partner of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). We work exclusively with NACA to support their educational mission by providing paid internship programs to colleges across the country. As you know, in a tight economy undergraduate experiences can make a significant difference in students' job opportunities.

We have a very unique experience with Microsoft available to students on your campus this fall and we would appreciate your recommendations. Our past experience shows that students who are involved with their activities office perform extremely well in our internship programs. As an NACA partner our first option is to hire students who are recommended by advisors like you. No one on the campus works more closely with student leaders and has the insights into how your students perform every day.

In addition to the invaluable experience of working for a Fortune 100 company, students will receive a Windows notebook computer and a significant cash stipend.

I have attached a detailed job description and job application for the position. Please feel free to share it with any interested students and have them contact me via phone or e-mail. I would also be glad to contact students directly if you can provide their summer e-mail addresses.

I sincerely appreciate your help. Please contact me with any questions.
