Last-minute BusinessThis Friday's meeting is the last AESB meeting, and we have one Room Allocation request on the Agenda. Please view the proposal on the AESB Website and bring the opinions of many students to the meeting. GraduationCongratulations, seniors - we're almost there! There is an opportunity for the graduating class of the College of Engineering 2009 to give back to the College. In particular, the senior class may purchase benches or tables for the VEC Quad that will be dedicated in your honor. Also, there is a graduation cap decorating contest for a cash prize - student leaders will be present on Commencement day to select the most innovative and unique graduation cap - you are Engineers - go all out! Associate Dean for Academic ProgramsThe College of Engineering is in the process of reviewing candidates to serve as Associate Dean of Academic Programs. Part of this process includes a visit to our campus. We are expecting some candidates to visit next week, with one definite on Monday, May 18, 2009. There will be a presentation and open forum from 11:15-12:45, most likely in ECS-304. Students may attend this portion of the visit. |
